Handicrafts Club
"Create with your hands. Create with purpose."
About the Club
The Handicrafts Club celebrates the art of making — the satisfaction of creating something tangible, useful, and beautiful with your own hands. Through traditional and contemporary craft techniques, members connect creativity with craftsmanship across a wide range of media.
From origami and paper craft to textile work, pottery, jewellery design, and DIY product creation, the club explores handmade craft as both an artistic practice and a sustainable, mindful alternative to mass production. The club also engages with craft as cultural preservation — learning traditional Indian handicraft forms that carry centuries of knowledge.
Our Purpose
To develop appreciation for artisanal craft traditions while fostering creative making, design thinking, and the meditative focus that comes from working with your hands.
